We got a surprise this past week at our house. Tammy cleaned out our female rabbit’s cage and as usual threw out the waste in the trash. While waiting for one of the garbage pickup days, a neighborhood raccoon got into the garbage and so it had to be picked up again. She noticed that one of the corners of the bag was moving and discovered 3 baby bunnies. They had managed to survive for at least 2 days in the trash. They’re now reunited with momma bunny and have pretty much doubled in size in the past 3 or 4 days.

I’m sure this sounds like horrible animal care, but in our defense, the rabbits are kept in separate cages, so we were not expecting bunny babies!  Tammy so far has decided to name them Lucky, Miracle, and Dumpster.  One has been claimed, but two are still available if anyone wants one.  They should be ready to leave mama bunny in about 4 weeks.

Here are a couple bunny pictures.  Then one of our cat’s reactions to one of the little fur balls as I was taking the pictures.

Ripple Theater this Weekend

This weekend is the second angry weekend in a row a Ripple Theater.  Destiny Entertainment is producing “12 Angry Jurors”.  I was lucky enough to get into one of their rehearsals a couple weeks ago and got some pictures.

Upgrading Cameras

My new camera body came last week and I love it!  I ordered the Nikon D3 and it’s living up to all the hype.  Playing around down at the theater this week, I tested out some of the low light capability.  It allowed me to shoot easily using the stage lighting and gave me nice crisp images.  I’m looking forward to using for the weddings I’m shooting this summer.  It will give me such great options to use which means even better pictures!
